Wine & Spirits

WineThe celebration of Canadian wine, beer and spirits has become an integral part of the success of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party.  With over 5000 guests in eleven cities across the country this is now the largest consumer showcase in Canada for Canadian wines.

The generosity of the Canadian industry continues to be very impressive, with over 100 winemakers, brewers, and distillers donating tens of thousands of dollars worth of their products…and most donated their premium labels! At the VIP Receptions guests sample a wide range of wines, beers and spirits, including some crafted just for the event. During the culinary competition, the chefs pair their dish with a wine, beer or spirit of their choice. And during the Celebration portion of the evening, guests were treated to some of Canada’s finest wines.

The Canada’s Great Kitchen Party New Brewery Showcase!

Gold Medal Pints

In 1998, Canada boasted fewer than 150 breweries from sea to shining sea. Today, a mere two decades later, we have in excess of 800!

To celebrate this explosion of brewing creativity, we are thrilled to present the New Brewery Showcase! In each city, three breweries which have been open for less than three years will present up to three of their best beers, be they stouts or pilsners, IPAs or brown ales, ‘sours’ or wheat beers.

These are breweries that may be familiar or could still be flying under the local radar, but either way they are operations on the cutting edge of the craft beer revolution. We know that our guests are passionate about culinary trends and there is perhaps no bigger and bolder trend right now than craft beer, so we are delighted to work with our National Beer Advisor, Stephen Beaumont, to present this opportunity to get to know some of your city’s newest and most exciting breweries.
